Lots has happened since my last newsletter. I also realized I forgot to send out a newsletter last month…and maybe the month before (life has been busy busy!).

BOOK NEWS:

First of all, my board books are coming September 5, 2023 🎉. They’re currently printing and will arrive in August for those that did the preorder campaign. If you missed the campaign, you can still order them HERE ($9.99 each). For reference, the books are on salsa, cumbia, and merengue while teaching kid friendly concepts.

WRITING NEWS:

Last month I also signed with an agent! 🤩 I’m still a little shocked because you never know when you’re going to get “the call” and then the “offer of rep” message. I started my query journey April 2022 and signed May 22, 2023 with Sera Rivers. I had the pleasure of meeting her in person last October at the SCBWI D.C. conference and took two of her classes+a PB critique. We’re now on submission with a story close to my heart (based outside of the U.S.) and will hopefully sig…
